Having gained more than 35 years experience in the steel stockholding industry, Walden Steels Limited was set up in June 2008 by Stephen Walden as Managing Director. The extensive product and market knowledge gained over that period allowed us to identify a niche market in the South Wales region whereby we could supply customers with their EXACT needs in the steel market whilst offering a quality, professional, customer–focused service.
Being an independent stockist we are not dictated to by “Head Office policies and practices” and we are able to offer a degree of flexibility that many larger organisations are unable, or unwilling, to provide. We firmly believe that by “going the extra mile” for our customers we offer an unrivalled level of customer service.
We appreciate that in these difficult economic times, outstanding customer service is no longer just important, it is absolutely CRUCIAL if a business is to succeed and thrive and striving to achieve that has become our benchmark.
With just two directors, Stephen and wife Gail, the business is run from our commercial premises in Pontypool, South Wales. Enquiries; local, national and international are handled from theses offices.
We are able to offer a bespoke service to our customers that many of our competitors lack the flexibility and resources to offer.
