Having gained more than 35 years experience in the steel stockholding industry, Walden Steels Limited was set up in June 2008 by Stephen Walden as Managing Director. The extensive product and market knowledge gained over that period allowed us to identify a niche market in the South Wales region whereby we could supply customers with their EXACT needs in the steel market whilst offering a quality, professional, customer–focused service.

A STEEL worker who was made redundant a year ago has turned his fortunes round by setting up a steel supply company now nominated for a prestigious award. Stephen Walden and his wife Gail, of Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran, lost their jobs within a week of one another in June last year when Barrett Steel closed its Cwmbran operations and moved to Avonmouth.
